Health and Safety Guidance

AutoFest IOW is a fun family day out.

To ensure that everyone has a great time we have a few safety guidelines.
Entry for display vehicles is from 7.30am till 9.45am,

with all cars in position before 10am.

We ask for all display vehicles to remail on site until 4pm

If you cannot stay until 4pm please make yourself known to a marshal at the paying entrance

If you have an emergency and have to leave before 4pm, please ask for a marshal to escort you off the site past any pedestrians.
Marshals will guide you to your parking area.
The show opens to visitors from 10am.
Parking for visitors is free.

Please be guided by our marshals to ensuresafe and efficient parking of vehicles.

Cars are parked at owner’s risk.
Please ensure that your vehicle has a relevant MOT, is taxed and
insured.
If we experience a dry summer, we will enforce a No Smoking and No
Vaping policy.

No refuelling on site.

No BBQs are allowed on site.

We have catering stalls within the show area.
In particularly hot weather, we do offer some shaded areas however we
advise visitors to sunscreen and a hat.

Please feel free to bring water onto site.
Please take care whilst walking on uneven ground.
We have a first aid tent for any injuries.
In the event of lost child/vulnerable adult, please make your way to the
PA stand or the nearest marshal.
Should you notice a possible fire, please inform the nearest marshal or
the PA stand immediately.
In the unlikely event of a serious fire air horns will sound and the PA
system will direct everyone to the relevant assembly area.

Marshals will guide you to the assembly area.

Please do not try to remove your vehicle from the site as we will need to keep the entrance free for the emergency services.

At the end of the show, whilst leaving the site we strongly suggest that
all vehicles turn left. This is a safer option and will help to speed up the
flow of vehicles from the site.

Photography/Filming Policy for AutoFest IOW 2026

1. Purpose
This policy ensures photography and filming at the event are conducted safely, legally, and
respectfully, in line with UK data protection and safeguarding laws.
2. General Photography
 General crowd and vehicle photography will take place for promotional, archival, and
media purposes.
 By entering the event, attendees consent to being photographed or filmed in crowd or
background shots.
3. Consent for CloseUp Images
 Closeup or identifiable images of individuals (especially children or vulnerable
persons) will only be taken with verbal consent.
 Parents/guardians must provide consent for anyone under 18.
4. Use of Images
 Images may be used on the event’s website, social media, printed materials, and
press releases.
 No images will be sold to third parties without explicit permission.
5. Media & Press
 Accredited media must register at the entrance gate and follow this policy.
 Media must respect “no photography” requests from individuals.
6. Attendee Photography
 Visitors are welcome to take personal photos and videos for noncommercial use.
 Commercial photography (e.g., for resale or advertising) requires prior written
approval from organisers.
7. Safeguarding & Privacy
 Any concerns about inappropriate photography should be reported to event staff
immediately.

 All personal data collected for consent purposes
